Don’t be surprised if you drive downtown in Ft Worth, Dallas, or Carrolton and find all city offices closed tomorrow.   As local cities try to close budget gaps offices will be closed for a longer than usual amount of time for the holiday.  In Ft Worth they’re calling Friday a furlough day which will extend the July fourth holiday for workers and make it a four day weekend, for all three cities.
So, if you didn’t get it done today in those cities, you’re gonna have to wait until  Tuesday to do so.
Police and fire services, will be open, as usual.
