The city flags around Coppell have been raised back to full staff after the latest developments about the late mayor’s financial dealings.
The municipal flags were ordered at half staff following the death of Mayor Jayne Peters whose body along with daughter Corinne was found Tuesday.  But over the last day reports have surfaced about Peters’ shakey financial situation and questons have been raised about her use of city credit cards.  Sharon Logan says the city manager decided to put the flags back at full staff.  Logan tells KRLD they were going to raise the flags around 2:30 Friday anyways but that the employees are struggling with this and that they needed to move forward.
The funeral for Peters and her daughter is this afternoon.  Police believe Peters shot her daughter before taking her own life.
