Jail Lieutenant Fired For Recording Showering Inmates

A veteran Dallas County Sheriff’s Lieutenant is out of a job after an investigation revealed he was filming female inmates in the shower.
Steven Gentry, who’s been with the Dallas County Sheriff’s for 18 years, was a manager of the south tower jail.  An investigation has been underway for some time after others in the department were tipped off that he had allegedly setup cameras to record female inmates in the shower.  A sheriff’s department spokesperson told the Dallas Morning News Gentry violated department policy by exhibiting conduct unbecoming of an officer.  As late as May of this year Gentry was responsible for teaching department trainees a class called, “Ethics in a Correctional Setting.”  It remains unclear if Gentry will now be facing any criminal charges.

He should get charged! Anyone else would get charged if they did anything like that.
