A Forest Hill city councilman’s been suspended for three months.   Mustafa Sami allegedly used his city-issued credit card to pay for personal items—including $1200 dollars for hotel rooms and meals.   The council vote was 5-1 to suspend Sami from taking part in any official city business until October 22nd.

Sami says the suspension is unbelievable and he’s completely shocked and surprised.   He tells the Star Telegram he doesn’t deny mis-using the credit card while going through divorce proceedings.    He says he is not going to resign.
