An elderly pilot has just some minor injuries after crash-landing near Cleburne yesterday. The man’s twin-engine aircraft lost power and landed hard in a field about eight miles southeast of the Cleburne Municipal Airport. The pilot’s friend was trailing in another aircraft and when he saw trouble developing, he quickly landed in Cleburne and drove to the crash site where he found the plane had broken in two. The pilot, who was taken to a Fort Worth hospital for treatment, is 83-years-old.
