A North Texas little league coach is accused of inappropriately touching a player, but a lot of parents are standing up for him. 34 year-old Kevin Reed of Mabank turned himself in after the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office charged him with indecency with a child. The original allegation came from a 12 year-old boy Reed coached on his baseball team in Gun Barrel City. The boy says Reed touched him inappropriately. In spite of the serious nature of the allegations, many who’ve had kids on Reed’s teams in his many years of coaching tell CBS-11 they’re reserving judgment until the coach has had his day in court. Detectives say they’ve not heard from any other parents whose kids have reported similar incidents, but they add the investigation is not complete.
