Dallas Animal Services is still working to identify the owners of two pit bulls captured after a viscous attack on a man in the Lakewood area of Dallas. The 63 year-old was out for a walk Friday morning near Monticello and Abrams when two loose pit bulls attacked him. A neighbor looked on helplessly as the two dogs mauled the man for 10 minutes. In spite of having his lip partially ripped off, the man was stitched up and is now recovering at home. The dogs had no tags, and if the owner isn’t found soon, both will likely be euthanized.
