As north Texas moves closer to meeting EPA ozone standards, the federal government is about to make them tougher.    Larry Starfield with the EPA tells the North Texas Clean Air Steering Committee they have proposed more stringent ozone standards, but that number won’t be known until the end of next month.
Bryan Shaw, chairman of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality tells the group  it’s going to take a considerable effort to meet the new, tougher standards, once the EPA reveals what they are.
