Thieves broke into a Camp L4 (Live, Learn, Laugh and Love) storage unit last weekendand took all sorts of supplies for the camp, including sporting equipment, arts and crafts supplies, paper goods, clothing, ice chests and fishing supplies.
Recovery Resource Council’s Cynthia Cuellar says the kids who go to the camp live in domestic violence shelters, homeless shelter and foster care. She says the 24 campers registered for the August 9th session are still coming. “These kids don’t get to experience these kind of things. Some of them have never even seen a horse. So for one week, they get to children, and we have to make this happen for them.”
She says donations are starting to come in. If you’d like to help, contact Cynthia Cuellar at (817) 332-6329 or log onto http://www.recoverycouncil.org
