Arlington Tot Brought To Fire Station With Serious Injuries
The year-old boy was operated on at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth last night and is reported to be in critical condition. Just before 6 p.m. Wednesday, an SUV pulled into the fire station on South Collins near Arkansas. The toddler was very warm when firefighters first looked him over, leading to speculation he might have been left in a hot car. But Arlington Assistant Fire Chief Alan Kassen says it’s way too soon to speculate on that. The baby-sitter has been questioned but not charged. The parents and CPS will be kept posted as to what police discover.
