Former High School Coach Faces Extradition

A Former North Texas high school coach, who admitted to an improper relationship, faces extradition from Canada.
Back in 2005, Cody Ledbetter pleaded guilty to having sex with a 16 year old student at Alvarado high school.   He was given 10 years probation, but 9 months ago he fled north.  Lt. Tim Jones with the Johnson County Sheriff’s office says Ledbetter is being held in Canada on family violence charges and now Ledbetter could be charged again for having sex with the student and for absconding from justice.  It is likely he will receive prison time.
