Former President George W. Bush will travel to Haiti on Tuesday to see the progress in rebuilding the country following the devastating earthquake in January.
Bush’s office in Dallas on Monday announced the trip.
Bush will hear from Haitians about the current conditions in their country and visit with organizations supported by the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund that are helping the rebuild effort.
The nonprofit Clinton Bush Haiti Fund was founded after President Obama asked Bush and former President Bill Clinton to lead a fundraising effort to help the people of Haiti following the Jan. 12 earthquake.
