A tri-fecta of events — the Cowboys, Rangers and Six Flags — is expected to create some heavy traffic in Arlington later today. Beginning at 4:30 this afternoon, the Cowboys are expecting 18,000 fans to attend a Silver-and-Blue practice. Then at 7:05 tonight, the Rangers play the New York Yankees and are expecting a capacity crowd — well over 40,000 people. And then at 8 tonight, Six Flags closes so all of those cars will be emptying out of the parking lot at around the same time.
Arlington police say they’ll work closely with the Rangers and Cowboys to make access to the parking lots as easy as possible and to point visitors in the right direction.
