Major League Baseball owners polled themselves at their Minneapolis meetings yesterday and they agreed to accept the new proprietors of the Rangers.  Last week, of course, the Ryan-Greenburg duo out-dueled Mavs owner Mark Cuban to acquire the right to buy the bankrupt Rangers from Tom Hicks.  But under Major League Baseball rules, the other owners can always black-ball any potential owner they don’t like.  Thus, yesterday’s vote, although a formality, makes it official and it was unanimous to okay the new ownership team.
