Three Kings and a “sugar high” were served up fresh tonight on the Pop Culture Round Up-
The KING of Rock-n-Roll, ELVIS is still drawing fans every year to his GRACELAND estate. It’s ElVIS WEEK in Memphis, and from August 10-16, fans flood from all over the country to pay homage to their beloved king.
The KING of Late Night, JOHNNY CARSON, or rather his estate, made a donation in excess of 150 million, spread out over 67 different charities. When he was with us, he made us laugh and it’s just as special that he continues to touch so many with his generosity.
The KING of Pop, MICHAEL JACKSON’s new album will hit stores in November. Track listing has not been released yet, but with MJ’s audio vault of over 200 completed songs, fans are ramping up the excitement to hear something new from MJ.
Also recording a new album, their first with the “original line-up” since 1998, VAN HALEN (with David Lee Roth at the mic on lead vocals) are putting the polish on the new record and have announced they fully intend on a world tour to promote the album, upon completion.
CHER and CHRISTINA AGUILERA have a new movie coming out called BURLESQUE. It’s the story of a former burlesque club that is on the decline, and the young dancer that is looking to fulfill her dreams. Here is the trailer:
