Just how wide is the white-powder scare?  The FBI now says the letters discovered recently in North Texas mention Al Quaeda and they’re similar to letters received around the country since 2008.
The case has grown enough that the U-S Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to 100-thousand dollars.  There are about 30 cases of letters containing white powder in North Texas and now around the country.  All have been harmless and postal inspector Amanda McMurry says recipients shouldn’t be overly concerned.
She adds investigators are now trying to determine whether there is a connection between the latest envelopes…and ones sent to Governors and Embassies dating back to 2008.
