Despite some mis-givings about the price tag, trustees agreed last night to move forward with the project that now includes about a million dollars allocated for a new weight room. That last-minute addition was the source of fresh annoyance but other trustees said now is the time to put the weight room in partly because current facilities are over-crowded and partly because construction costs are pretty low, these days. Ground-breaking is scheduled for mid-September and the first game could be played in the new 18-thousand seat stadium in August of 2012.
