Tom Delay is due back in a Travis County courtroom today for a pre-trial hearing on a five year old charge.  The charges have to do with whether Tom Delay, then US House majority leader, along with co-defendants John Colyandro and James Ellis, used corporate money to fuel some state legislative races.  Delay’s attorney Dick Deguerin says there are two things he wants out of this hearing.  “We’re hoping to have a severance, a separate trial from the other two gentlemen, and we’re hoping to move the trial out of Travis County.”  Deguerin says there’s no way Delay can get a fair trial in Travis County.  He wants the trial moved to Delay’s home county of Ft. Bend.
