Bill White Talks Term Limits (Audio)

Bill White Talks Term Limits (Audio)The Democratic Nominee for Texas Governor, Bill White, talked with me about his proposal for term limits.  His opponent, Governor Perry, is the longest serving governor in state history and White believes the length of Perry’s service creates an environment for cronyism and corruption.

We also talked about the governor’s continued refusal to debate.

I think most people probably aren’t paying much attention yet to the race, but talk radio listeners certainly care and would like to hear what both men have to say about the issues.  After Labor Day, we’ll see much more pressure on the governor to debate his opponent, and I think he’ll eventually give in.  But, who knows?

Bill White is correct we need term limits not only for Govoner but for All elected offices state and fredeal. It is time we moved our government back to what is was supposed to be for the people by the people. Proffesional politions are costing us our country. The become so entrenched that that believe that they know beeeter than the people they are supposed to serve. The also build large political machines that spend millions to get relected time after time aafter time. I won’ t get in to Eddie Berniece Johnson mess. That is duplicated by every congressman and senator in the country. Can you name one stste that has avoided a scandal in the last 10 years due to GREED by long term incumbants
