$25 Fee For Garage Sales Suggested

If some Dallas leaders get their way, City Hall could get some of the proceeds from your next garage sale.  Two City Council members have proposed charging a 25-dollar fee to anyone who wants to have a garage sale in city limits.  A five-dollar fee has been mentioned before cut council members Delia Jasso and Dwaine Caraway are circulating a memo suggesting that charging 25-dollars for a permit could generate a half-million dollars of revenue in Dallas which faces chronic budget issues.  Caraway says it would also permit the city to track those who try to exceed the city’s maximum of two garage sales per year.

I would like to no which party these dopes are from, gov collecting fees is the same as taxes. GOP states don’t raise taxes and the DEMs pretend to protect the enviroment. 25$ to sell used furniture and clothes is not worth it, so rather then reusing used stuff I would just toss it into the landfills. Recycling is good but reusing is the enviromentally friendly way to go.
