A high school softball coach in Mansfield is now facing charges of online solicitation of a minor. 35 year-old Jay Harvill was arrested Thursday on a warrant from Texas Attorney General’s Cyber Crimes Unit. Harvill, who has coached in Mansfield since 2007, reportedly sent multiple text messages to parents of players from jail maintaining his innocence. That, according to the Mansfield News-Mirror. Police are not releasing additional details of what led up to Harvill’s arrest.
