Boater inexperience may have been a factor in that boat crash on Lewisville Lake on Sunday. Two rental boats collided, sinking one of them and sending a dozen people to the hospital. Eight of the victims are children.

Captain Neil Bieler with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department tells 1080 KRLD renting a boat and not knowing how to operate it is a big factor in this wreck. He says they have not confirmed a report that a child was driving one of the boats.

The boats were from Just For Fun boat rentals.
