Jerry Jones is fine with Wade/Garrett system
Jerry Jones said this afternoon that he is fine with the communication system between Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett. “It is not uncommon to have the head coach take one side of the ball,” said Jerry. “I’m perfectly happy with the arrangement. Wade and Jason have a good relationship. Now it is clear that we should have taken a knee in that situation.”
Bumped into Troy Aikman while out here today. He said that Jimmy Johnson would actually call for some of those half time Hail Mary’s at times and he learned rather quickly to basically roll his eyes and just throw the ball out of bounds when they were 60-70 yards from the end zone. At practice: DeMarcus Ware returned. Kosier and Columbo were all systems go. Sean Lee still recovering from a leg injury. I’ll check in with Arnie at 7:30pm tonight.
