The Dallas school superintendent’s trip to Las Vegas this week is more business than pleasure. Michael Hinojosa is one of, now, just two finalists for the superintendent’s job in Las Vegas, the heart of the Clark County School District. Tomorrow, he and the other man will take part in community meetings then, on Thursday, they have their formal interviews with the school board. Last week, three finalists were announced but one has now dropped out, leaving just Hinojosa and the Colorado Education Commissioner.
