A new study found that women apologize more than men, but not because men don’t want to admit wrongdoing… they simply believe they’ve done less wrong. LiveScience.com reported that men are just as likely to apologize as women, but find they have less to apologize for. There seems to be a big difference in what men and women deem offensive, resulting in men not apologizing for something that women think they probably should. Karina Schumann, a doctoral student at Canada’s University of Waterloo, said she found that in addition to being less likely to think they’ve done something wrong, men are also less likely to report being victims of wrongdoing.
