Cowboys get back to work
The Cowboys are back at work after taking three days off for the bye week.
A spirited practice this morning and Coach Wade Phillips said a little while ago that he expects everyone back at practice on Wednesday (from the injury front) which means we could see Kyle Kosier sooner than we expected. Jason Witten says he is fine after that slight knee sprain. Witten also said that “Wade mentioned the division standings situation to us this morning,” with everyone in the NFC East sporting two losses. It could also get worse for the Eagles if Michael Vick’s injury is serious as Kevin Kolb just did not look good against the Redskins yesterday. Most of the players said they watched a little bit of football this weekend.
Now is a good time to try to launch the season. The Cowboys were 2-2 through four last year, and then came the big win at Kansas City which probably saved their season.
The Cowboys have three home games over the next four weeks: Titans, @ Minnesota, then the Giants and Jaguars come calling. It should be a rather interesting October.
