The Keller boy, struck down with a heart attack last week, is now awake. Jack Heglund had been unconscious since Thursday when he collapsed at home. His mother immediately began CPR and kept him going until paramedics arrived. Doctors say he became alert enough yesterday to give them a thumbs-up. They were also able to remove him from a ventilator that has kept him breathing for the past week. While unconscious, it was unclear whether he suffered any brain damage and tests are now being do to determine that.
