Man Arrested in String of Church Burglaries

handcuffed Man Arrested in String of Church Burglaries A Dallas man is locked up and police think they’ve solved a string of church burglaries in the Park Cities.  KDFW-TV reports that John Wells is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of equipment, including high end audio-visual gear and computers. His activities were captured by church security video cameras and, in at least one instance, a church worker noticed Wells carrying items out of the building.  Detectives are tying him to a break-in at Highland Park United Methodist Church and two other burglaries at Highland Park Presbyterian. Because of the value of the stolen equipment, Wells could face felony charges.
