Firefighter Arrested For Selling Steroids

The wife of a Dallas firefighter says her husband is not the steroids dealer police in Allen say he is.

13 year Dallas Fire Department veteran Gregory Whitely is in jail, facing a second degree felony after undercover officers in Allen arrested him Tuesday night.  Police say Whitely, who is also a body builder, sold 7 different types of steroids to undercover cops. His wife tells CBS-11 there has to be some mistake. She says she knows her husband wasn’t taking steroids, because nothing has shown up in the drug tests he frequently has to take at Station 31. Police say they’re following up their undercover investigation with additional checking on who else Whitely might have been selling steroids to. Dallas Fire Rescue has not revealed Whitely’s status with the department following his arrest.
