They all survived but a DeSoto couple whose two sons, ages seven and ten, were seriously hurt, are now pushing the city to take action. Victor and Summer Foreman say the stretch of Pleasant Run where the boys were struck should be a 20-miles-an-hour school zone because it’s just a block away from Meadows Elementary School. The current speed limit is 40-miles-an-hour. The very next morning after the Foreman boys were run over, the same thing happened to a Grand Prairie sixth-grader. That driver didn’t stop but she did call police two hours later. She could face charges for not helping the 12-year-old girl whose injuries were not life-threatening.
