Counselors at Gunn Junior High School in Arlington will be helping teenagers cope with the sudden death of their classmate, Kelsee Williams, a 13-year-old eighth grader. She died late Friday in a rollover crash on Highway 360 in Grand Prairie.
Police say she was in the back seat when she leaned over the driver to adjust the radio controls, located on the steering wheel. It’s not clear if the 16-year-old driver was startled or distracted, but the SUV suddenly veered out of control. The driver and two other teenagers were not seriously hurt. Kelsee was pronounced dead at a hospital.
