Neighbor Snaps Pics Of Burglary Suspect
ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) – Police in Arlington are searching for the man who was caught on camera after burglarizing a residence in the 4100 block of Brownwood Lane.
According to authorities, on October 19 a homeowner in the area noticed a pickup in his neighbor’s driveway. The neighbor became suspicious because the truck had a license plate taped over another plate using tape.
The suspect made several trips inside the house and loaded items into the truck. After watching for a while, the neighbor took photographs of the truck and the driver, and then called 911. When police arrived they discovered that the home had indeed been burglarized.
Police called the homeowner and after arriving confirmed that jewelry, cash, collector coins, and gaming equipment had been taken.
The burglary suspect is described as a white male who at the time of the burglary was wearing sunglasses, a baseball hat and work gloves. The pickup, with the two license plates, was a gold-colored, extended cab Chevrolet Silverado. The front bumper on the truck was damaged and, in addition to the items taken from the house, a toolbox was in the bed of the truck.
Anyone with information about the suspect in the photos is asked to contact Arlington Police Detective Cary Harris at (817) 459-6090, or call Crime Stoppers at (817) 469-TIPS (8477).
