32-Car Pileup Starts Monday Commute

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) – Arlington police spent much of their Monday morning cleaning up from a 32-car chain reaction accident along the northbound lanes of Highway 360.

The accident happened shortly before 6:00 am on 360 at Division Street.   APD says it all started when a car was exiting onto the ramp of Division Street.  Another car rear ended that one, and that started the chain reaction pileup.

Police shutdown the northbound lanes as they tended to 10 people who were injured in the crash, and attempted to clean up the lanes.

None of the people were seriously injured, but they were transported to area hospitals.    Arlington police say it’s a combination of slick roads and people driving too closely to each other that caused the accident.
