DALLAS (AP) – New signs are being installed as the North Texas Tollway Authority finishes its transition to a totally cashless system.

The switchover is scheduled to be completed Saturday.

NTTA says electronic payment conversion at the Dallas North Tollway, the Addison Airport Toll Tunnel and Mountain Creek Lake Bridge will complete the change.

The authority says motorists without TollTags will be billed later at the higher rate with ZipCash, the NTTA’s pay-by-invoice option.

NTTA says construction will continue into 2011 on the cashless conversion project as toll booths and other support equipment are removed.

Or, all Texas roads are going toll…….especially all those built in the future.

That’s so the state can hit us with what amounts to double taxation. They tax us to build roads, and then tax us to use them.
