PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) – A two-year construction operation along Highway 75 in Plano will open up to drivers Saturday.
New ramps for the Parker Road exits are ready for commuters. The City of Plano is using a ramp design new to the state of Texas, all drivers will have to turn left if they take the ramps.
There are right turns for drivers on the exit frontage roads, but the new ramps steer traffic to the left for better flow for thousands of cars.
“I think most of the commuters have seen this going on for the last two years, so they know something is about to change,” says city spokeswoman Wendy Jorgensen
The Parker Road ramps will open to traffic early Saturday evening.
