Grapevine Pastor Goes 3-D For Christmas Services

GRAPEVINE (AP) – A North Texas minister known for his innovative preaching has gone 3-D this Christmas season.

Fellowship Church in Grapevine drew attention in 2008 when Senior Pastor Ed Young challenged married congregants to have sex for seven straight days.

Young on Saturday night hosted about 4,000 followers for “A 3-D Christmas.”

According to a North Texas newspaper, adults and children received paper-frame glasses with red and blue plastic lenses, to watch three videos in a program put together at a cost of about $8,000. The third video featured a re-created incident from last Christmas, in which Young’s dogs tore up gift packages.

Young, after the 3-D showings, preached the Christmas story.

He says “Christmas is the best time of the year for people to give God a shot.”

I wonder if the congregation will also get a video of the pastor’s 8.4 million dollar private jet.

  2. Hemroidious says:

They could get an autographed picture of it for a love donation.
