GLENDALE, Ariz. (CBSDFW.COM) – Saturday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals told us a lot of what we already know about this Cowboys team: it is seriously flawed.

The biggest flaw isn’t the kicking game, it is the defense.  The Cowboys defense is making a habit out of collapsing in the fourth quarter.

How do you explain something called John Skelton driving his team down the field for a game winning field goal?  This was the Cowboys fifth loss of the season when leading or tied in the fourth quarter.

“I’m at a loss for words,” ‘ linebacker Keith Brooking said. “You feel like you played good enough to win the game, and obviously toward the end things didn’t go our way.”

The Cowboys have given up 117 points in the final period. Only Jacksonville (120) and Denver (132) have been worse.

The other obvious flaw is the kicking game.  David Beuler is simply an experiment gone horribly wrong.  He has tons of talent and a big leg but he is also terribly inconsistent and that should be all Jason Garrett and Jerry Jones need to know about going futher with him as the kicker of the Dallas Cowboys.

Nick Folk and Sean Suisham, last season’s cowboy castoffs at Kicker are both on their way to the playoffs.  Hard to imagine why Jerry Jones is so solid on Beulher, when he has been far leff effective than either Suisham or Folk.  This mistake is on Jerry’s ego!
