Off-Duty Fort Worth Officer Arrested For Driving While Intoxicated

HURST (CBSDFW.COM) – Hurst police officers arrested an off-duty Fort Worth police officer on suspicion of driving while intoxicated Tuesday morning.

According to a statement, off duty FWPD officer Bobby Brown, 43, was arrested after another driver reported that Brown’s car slammed into the median in the 100 block of State Highway 121.

Hurst police officers investigated the scene and charged Brown with Driving While Intoxicated.

    I know they are trying, but the FWPD has got to get a handle on this thing! Who knows how many of their officers are driving drunk and not being caught, or when they are officers are looking the other way! It is really out of control. Trust me, the job isn’t so bad that it would drive so many to frink, and you would think that the overwhelming majority of FWPD officers who don’t drive drunk would want the brass to come down on these guys and restore the integrity to the agency.
