DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) – If you missed the Tom Landry exhibit during the State Fair of Texas don’t worry, because due to its popularity, Remembering Tom Landry: The Personal Collection has been extended. Between now and Sunday, February 6th, fans can head to the Hall of State at Fair Park to experience the life of Landry.
His wife, Alicia, has contributed various articles from the famed coach’s closet including his high school varsity letter jacket, the fur-lined trench coat he wore during the Ice Bowl, and of course, his trademark fedora. You can even see the various trophies and awards Landry won during his 28-year career as head coach of the Cowboys.
Also on display is a video from Tom Landry’s memorial service and family photographs taken throughout his lifetime. For more information, visit the Dallas Historical Society. Spread the buzz.
