EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) - Jamie Benn had a goal and an assist and Kari Lehtonen made 30 saves in the Dallas Stars’ 4-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday night.

Mike Ribeiro, James Neal and Adam Burish — into an empty net with a second left — also scored for Dallas. The Pacific Division-leading Stars are 7-0-1 in January and 29-13-5 overall.

Former Michigan State defenseman Jeff Petry scored his first NHL goal, and Ryan Jones added a goal for Edmonton. The Oilers, last in the Western Conference at 14-25-7, have lost four in a row and 13 of 15.
