Tight Security Will Surround Super Bowl XLV
ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) – Security will be tight for Super Bowl 45 in Arlington. Federal and local law enforcement provided a glimpse on Friday.
Everything from bomb-sniffing dogs to sophisticated mobile command posts was on display.
Robert Casey, Special Agent in Charge of the Dallas FBI, says their goal is to protect the Super Bowl and its fans:
The FBI is being joined by the ATF, ICE and a long list of local police and fire departments.
They’ll also be watching the outcome of the Bears/Packers game this weekend. President Obama says if the Bears win he’ll come to watch them play in Arlington. And that would add another dimension to the security plans.
