ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) – A North Texas mom is recovering after giving birth to her baby boy – in the parking lot of an Arlington “strip club”.

Nate Jones was going pedal to the metal from Mansfield to Plano so his wife could give birth where their doctor practiced… but their son was on his own schedule…and was ready to come out.

Nate got on the phone with 9-1-1- and pulled into Flashdancers on Highway 360. “I was hearing the instructions, but I wasn’t listening. There was no way I was going to try to deliver this baby.”

The baby made his appearance in the passenger seat. An ambulance soon whisked off to mom and baby to a nearby hospital and both are doing well.
