IRVING (AP) – Retail gasoline prices remain unchanged across Texas this week from last, but still at unusually high levels.
The weekly AAA Texas price survey released Thursday showed a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was retailing for an average price of $3.43. That’s 42 cents higher than a month ago and 75 cents higher than a year ago but 12 cents less than the national average, which also remained unchanged.
The auto club statement says crude oil prices remain above $100 per barrel on world markets.
The cheapest gasoline in Texas is found in Amarillo, where the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded rose by a penny from last week to $3.38. The most expensive gasoline is in El Paso, where the average price remained unchanged at $3.47 per gallon.

Pingback: Texas Gas Prices Unchanged, But Still High « Fort Worth News Feeds
I was getting absolutely sick of paying over $3 at the pump. I decided
to do some serious Googling in my quest for lower prices, I came
across this unique buying club called MyGasDiscount.info, I immediately
joined them for only $10 a month. Now when I fill up, I keep the receipt
and mail it in to get a 50% rebate on the amount I spent for gas.
Believe me an extra couple of hundred bucks a month gives my
family our weekly trip to the movies again… or you can always buy
more gas.. LOL. Here’s the link http://www.mygasdiscount.info
