NBA Fines Blazers Coach $35,000 For Griping In Game

DALLAS (AP) – Portland coach Nate McMillan has been fined $35,000 by the NBA for disparaging comments about the officiating in Game 1 of the Trail Blazers’ playoff series against the Dallas Mavericks.

McMillan was angry because Dallas took 29 free throws and his team took 13. Mavs star Dirk Nowitzki had 13 free throws in the fourth quarter alone, helping lead Dallas to an 89-81 victory.
The teams meet in Game 2 on Tuesday night.

this proves the most when u have the coach on the other team complaining about bad refs you know they are just finding reasons to complain cause they cant play ball

Is this the “Mark Cuban Effect”? Maybe their owner should be on the sidelines and more vocal. They can afford it more than the coaches.
