About 50 Vehicles Crash On Slick Arlington Freeway

ARLINGTON (AP) – Police say the aftermath of a thunderstorm is believed to have been a big factor in a chain collision of about 50 vehicles on a freeway in Arlington.

Motorists say a glaring sunset reflecting off rain-slick pavement blinded them as they drove west on Interstate 20 in southwest Arlington.

Sgt. Os Flores, an Arlington police spokesman, says three people were taken to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries after the 6:45 p.m. Tuesday incident. The crashes closed the westbound lanes for three hours.

Thank you, Shooter. Your advice makes too much sense to make sense in our entitled, me-first-world!

And these are the same drivers who think they can handle higher speed limits and have the ability to text and talk on cell phones while driving.
