According to the armored truck driver, after he told the suspect to stop, the suspect pointed a gun at him. The driver then fired two or three shots at the man. The suspect stumbled and fell, but it isn’t clear if the suspect was hit but the man reportedly fell to the ground, then got up and into the waiting car.

Police continue searching for the suspects who may have left the scene in two vehicles, one of which was the 4-door maroon sedan, possibly a Buick Cutlass Supreme or Chrysler Concorde. The driver who shot at the suspects was not injured.

The armored truck was from Dunbar Armored. Officials at the company location in Grapevine told CBS 11 that all of their employees are safe. They also confirmed that according to company police, there are at least two employees on each truck. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Fort Worth Police at (817) 392-4370.
