FORT BRAGG, N.C. (AP) – A medic with the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division has been found dead in the barracks at Fort Bragg.
Officials say they are investigating the death of 29-year-old Pfc. Jeffrey Hyde of Irving.
Hyde joined the Army in 2008. He also served as a health care specialist and an ambulance aide driver.
Officials say Hyde deployed with the division from August 2009 to July 2010 in support of the war effort in Iraq.
