DALLAS (AP) – A parade is planned for Dallas as the city celebrates its first NBA championship title and Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is picking up the tab.

Cuban repeated Monday that he will personally pay for the celebration. Dallas Mayor Dwaine Caraway says the city is in a budget crunch but still plans a parade, with details to be announced later.

Having Carter receive the trophy was a class move, and this is even more of a class act. I hope the City will allow him to plan it as well. We want it done right.
