DECATUR (CBSDFW.COM) – Four people died in an early morning collision when a Ford Mustang veered into a truck, slamming into it head-on.
The accident happened around 3:15 a.m. Saturday on Farm-to-Market 730, roughly six miles northeast of Decatur.
The Mustang driver, 17-year-old Fort Worth resident Danny Nalley, crashed head-on with a Ford F350, driven by Burleson resident Richard Rand, 30. Rand, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Wise Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
Nalley was air-lifted to JPS Hospital in Fort Worth. He remains in critical condition.
The four passengers in the Mustang all died in the wreck. Department of Public Safety spokesman Lonnie Haschel identified Kevin Brickey, 19, of Blue Mound, and Vincent William, 19, of Wakefield Mass., as two of the victims. The names of the other two victims have not been released.
