Worker Killed In Accident At TI Facility In Richardson

RICHARDSON (CBSDFW.COM/AP) – An industrial accident at a Texas Instruments chip fabrication unit in Richardson has left a worker dead.

Richardson police Sgt. Kevin Perlich on Tuesday identified the victim as 54-year-old Roy Aguilar of Dallas.

Perlich says firefighters Monday responded to a report of a water purifier explosion at a TI unit in Richardson. Police say the victim was impaled by some type of glass.

A spokeswoman with Dallas-based TI said Tuesday that the company had limited information on the accident at its chip-making facility. Whitney Jodry said, “The safety and well-being of our employees and contractors is a top priority for Texas Instruments and this is a great loss for our company.”

The incident remains under investigation.

I wish they wouldn’t print such things.I usually search the obituaries for people who may have left job vacancies, but I’m not even going to bother with this one, there will almost certainly be two or three hundred other applicants there.

REALLY? Commenting about a death creating a JOB OPENING? Who the hell would hire a totally imbecilic TW@T like you, MALVEUS? Maybe the reason you’re unemployable is because you have zero social skills.
